How to Use Potions in Compshop
Why Potion Timing Matters
Potions are limited resources in Compshop — most free ones come from promo codes like Wnowell, Pogisiren, and 555kvisits. Using them at the wrong moment wastes their value. A Double Cash Potion activated before you log off does nothing; an Ultra Lucky Potion spent on a single cheap pull barely moves your odds.
This guide teaches when to activate each potion type, how to stack with the x2 Cash event, and which codes to redeem first. For full potion stat reference, see our potions page.
Step 1 — Redeem All Potion Codes
Before planning potion sessions, redeem every active code on our codes list. Currently that includes Kuryente, Wifi, 4Mvisits, 3Mvisits, and 1Mvisits (milestone rewards), Wnowell (1 Ultra Lucky Potion), Pogisiren (2 Double Lucky Potions), and 555kvisits (Double Cash Potion plus 5,000 Cash).
Complete the tutorial first — the cogwheel redemption menu on the left side of the screen stays locked until then. Follow our redeem guide if the menu is hard to find on mobile.
Step 2 — Use Double Cash Potions During Events
Double Cash Potions multiply customer earnings for a limited session. Always activate at the start of active play — never before closing the game. The best window is during the x2 Cash event, which doubles all customer payments and stacks with Double Cash Potions for up to 4x earnings.
Before activating, fill every PC slot with upgraded parts following our PC upgrade guide. Empty stations or basic parts waste the multiplier. Play on populated servers during Roblox peak hours for maximum foot traffic.
- Check the game title or Discord for active x2 Cash event status.
- Upgrade all PC stations before activating the potion.
- Join a busy server with other active shops.
- Activate Double Cash Potion at session start.
- Grind continuously until the potion expires.
- Redeem 555kvisits if you have not already for a free Double Cash Potion.
Step 3 — Use Luck Potions for Pull Sessions
Ultra Lucky Potions from Wnowell offer the strongest gacha luck boost for PC part pulls. Save them for dedicated pull sessions when you have at least 10–15 pulls worth of cash banked. Double Lucky Potions from Pogisiren suit routine mid-tier upgrades when you cannot wait for an Ultra Lucky drop.
Never stack two luck potions — only one luck effect runs at a time. You can run a luck potion and a cash potion together if you plan to pull parts and farm customers in the same extended session.
Step 4 — Pair Potions With the Right Activity
Luck potions belong in the gacha pull menu for PC parts, not for buying mousepads, arcade machines, or decorations directly. Cash potions belong during customer farming, not during pure build mode. The 1Mvisits milestone code may grant mixed rewards — check inventory after redeeming and plan usage accordingly.
After pulling rare parts with a luck potion, install them immediately using our rare parts guide priority list. Better parts amplify the next Double Cash Potion session.
Common Potion Mistakes
Using Ultra Lucky on a single pull when broke — wait until you can batch multiple attempts. Activating Double Cash on an empty shop with one basic PC — upgrade first. Using luck potions on direct-purchase items like arcade cabinets — save them for gacha pulls only.
If a code-granted potion seems missing after redeem, rejoin a different server. Beta bugs occasionally delay inventory updates until a fresh session loads.
