Compshop Controls

Controls Overview

Compshop uses standard Roblox controls with a few game-specific UI buttons for shop management, code redemption, and building. Knowing where every button is located saves time and prevents frustration, especially on mobile where screen space is limited.

This reference covers all platforms: PC (keyboard and mouse), mobile (touch), and console (controller).

PC Controls

On PC, movement and camera use standard Roblox defaults.

  • W/A/S/D — move your character around the shop.
  • Mouse — look around and interact with objects.
  • Left Click — select items, confirm purchases, interact with PCs.
  • E or Click — interact with shop objects and menus.
  • Esc — open Roblox menu (not the in-game settings).

Game UI Buttons

Compshop adds several persistent UI elements on the left and bottom of the screen.

  • Cogwheel (Gear) Icon — left side; opens settings and code redemption menu.
  • Shop Menu — access PC parts, decorations, and food purchases.
  • Build Mode — place and move PC stations, decorations, and food items.
  • Inventory — view owned parts, potions, and items.
  • Support/Favorite — interact with other players' shops on the server.

Mobile Controls

Mobile players use touch controls with on-screen buttons. The virtual joystick on the left controls movement. Swipe to rotate the camera. Tap to interact with objects and UI buttons.

The cogwheel code button remains on the left side but may appear smaller on phone screens. Rotate to landscape mode for a better view of your shop layout and UI elements.

Console Controls

Xbox and PlayStation players use standard Roblox controller mappings. Left stick moves, right stick controls camera, A/X button interacts. Navigate UI menus with the d-pad or analog stick and confirm with the action button.

The cogwheel settings icon may require cursor mode on console — press the right trigger or equivalent to activate the on-screen pointer for precise UI interaction.

Code Redemption Button Location

The most searched UI element is the code redemption menu. Click the cogwheel icon on the left side of the screen, then find the Enter Code Here text box. For a full walkthrough, see our code redemption guide.

If the cogwheel is missing, you may still be in the tutorial. Complete all tutorial steps first.
